Point Location

A: In a depression at the midpoint between the ASIS and the greater trocanter of the femur.

B: 3 cun above the superior lateral border of the patella on line connecting the ASIS found with knee flexed.

C: Lateral to BL54 at the popliteal crease and medially to the becips femoris tendon.

D: When the knee is flexed, the point is found above the medial end of the transverse popliteal crease, posterior to the medial epicondyle of the tibia in a depression on the anterior border of the insertions of the semimembraneous and semitendoneous muscles.

E: With the knee in flexion, 2 cun superior to the superior border of the patella, on the buldge of the medial portion of the quadraceps femoris muscle.
