Point Location

A: 1 cun anterior to GB 22 in the 4th intercostal space, level with the nipple.

B: 4 cun lateral to the midline in the 2nd intercostal space.

C: 6 cun above CV8, 0.5 cun lateral to CV14. Avoid liver when needling!

D: 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline in the 5th intercostal space.

E: Below the spinous process of L4
