The Practical Application of Meridian Style AcupunctureThe Practical Application of Meridian Style Acupuncture
by John E. Pirog

This is the first original text in English to attempt a comprehensive and rigorous exposition of meridian style acupuncture. In doing so it clarifies many of the underlying patterns determining modern acupuncture's formulas. Elements of acupuncture which often remain confusing for practitioners are presented in the broader context of energic theory through both clear analysis and practical application. John E. Pirog is currently Clinical Director at the Midwest Center for the Study of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, where he has taught since 1983. He has helped establish community-based acupuncture clinics in Chicago and maintains a private practice.
