Point Location

A: At the junction of the lateral 1/3 and medial 2/3 of the distance between the greater trocanter and the hiatus of the sacrum (GV2)

B: 5 cun above KI3 on the line drawn from KI3 to KI10 at the lower border of the gastrocnemius muscle.

C: Below the patella in a depression lateral to the patella ligament found with knee flexed.

D: 3 cun directly above BL60.

E: 3 cun directly above the tip of the medial malleolus on the posterior border of the tibia. Contraindicated to needle during pregnancy.
