A Handbook of Traditional Chinese GynecologyA Handbook of Traditional Chinese Gynecology

AUTHOR: Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

DESCRIPTION:
Fourth revised edition! The first English language translation of a complete Chinese clinical manual on TCM gynecology and obstetrics. Covers pathophysiology, diagnosis, therapeutic principles, and herbal treatment plans for 35 commonly encountered complaints. Edited, annotated, revised, and prefaced by Bob Flaws.

In 1986, I asked Zhang Ting-liang, then working as an English language translator at the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to select a basic TCM gynecology textbook and translate it for publication in the English. The book he chose was written by Profs. Song Guang-ji and Yu Xiao-zhen of the Zhejiang College of TCM in Hangzhou and was at that time that TCM college's basic gynecology text. Its Chinese title is Zhong Yi Fu Ke Shou Ce (A Handbook of Traditional Chinese Gynecology). It was originally published in China in 1984. Mr. Zhang used the 1985 edition for his translation.
