Point Location

A: 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline in the 4th intercostal space.

B: In the depression of the the infrascapular fossa, one-third the distance between the lower border of the scapular spine and the inferior angle of the scapula, approximately level with T4 spinous process.

C: 4 cun lateral to the midline in the 4th intercostal space in the center of the nipple. Contraindicated to needle and moxabustion!

D: Center of axilla on the medial side of the axillary artery. Avoid axillary artery!

E: 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline below the clavicle in the depression medial to the coracoid process. needle oblique to avoid lungs.
