A: 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline in the 2nd intercostal space.

B: 4 cun lateral to the midline in the 5th intercostal space.

C: In 4th intercostal space 2 cun lateral to CV17. Avoid heart when needling!

D: 3 cun lateral to GV11 level with the spinous process of T5

E: 3 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T1 (GV 13).
